I'm glad that the focus isn't on the romance (at least until now)

I'm on chapter 8 and, until now at least, it's enjoyable. I like that the chapters are on the shorter side, otherwise I wouldn't have read this “much“. And maybe I shouldn't have started a new book in the middle of the night and exam season. I don't like her choice of words very much and Max use of non-curse words is still cursing which should be easily identifiable by her parents.
