Wow I'm 3% into a scholarly work that is supposed to NOT be biased since its history work.
And there's a giant indication of coming racism:)))
The sad truth is, I'm not surprised at all. Ancient mesopotamia is not as popular a subject as pharaoic Egypt, and somehow among the smaller stream of knowledge we gain from the ancient near east, there's always the possibility of seeing something racist; mostly anti-Iranian:)
