First chapter in and there’s nothing more than a throwaway line about bisexual being used to refer to “hermaphroditic plants and creatures”. No mention of eugenics or race science in 19th c sexology re: bisexuality and “psychic hermaphroditism”. The use of creatures and entire erasure of intersex people… Disappointing. I don’t know if I’ll like this work.
