The world building could be better. I feel that different ethnicities are too similar. It gets to the point where the characters have to tell others of their race because there is literally no difference; they wouldn’t be able to tell otherwise. Other than that, the story is compelling and has good readability. One issue is that Wes comments that Maggie is “not beautiful” or “almost pretty…almost”.
