You are devouring it!!!!! You're going to finish before me. Isn't it crazy? It kind of reminds me of an American version of 100 Years of Solitude.

This is an easy read but I'm honestly not really enjoying it. It's like an examination of the depths of human depravity, evil and pure indifference to each other in a way that I can't see as useful ..... so far. I get the Cain and Abel references and can guess his intent but for me, like life, good art is a matter of balance. I'm told the book gets better and we see glimpses of goodness but I haven't found many yet and I'm looking hard.

I haven't read 100 Years of Solitude yet.

I'm sorry you're not enjoying it. I know for sure that I cannot stand Cathy/Kate. She is getting on my nerves.
