So far, I;m having warring bells that this is 'the sound of music' all over again minus the Naziism, political intrigue and escape scene. So much less than what I'd expect from Eloise Bridgerton so far. And especially disappointing given how much better Eloise's love interest/intrigue in the Netflix series is going. unfortunately, like the books on Anthony and Daphne, the books are flat compared to Netflix.
