The Americans have launched into denial about Broke's success and their own little league standing in face of the powerful British Navy.

The only black man aboard the Chesapeake was blamed for not blowing his bugle with enough vibrancy to win the battle. He was lashed and deprived of his wages. Made me think about "Black Lives Matter" in these times of progress. There's money to be made in wars. Not much has changed there too.
