I LOVED the picnic chapter - it was very fun and had almost all of my favorite characters in it. I adore Aoi and 大旦那様. They're the best! I'm glad that Shizuna and Tokihiko made up.

Oooh! I'm pretty sure that Ginji is the one that helped Aoi when she was a child!

Also, I'm very curious about the room with her grandfather's photos that she discovered in the underground part of the inn - how is the 座敷童 connected to お旦那様 and 天神屋, I wonder?

I'm glad that Aoi and 大旦那様 have their magic texting, but I miss him! I dislike that he was gone for so much of the book.

This is so fun! The 折尾屋 people coming to spy/visit/see lost (potential) lovers thing is an interesting twist, especially since 大旦那様 isn't at the inn. I'm enjoying getting to know しずなちゃん. She's nice and has an interesting past. I love how Aoi's cooking has a way of melting/healing people's hearts (situation-dependent) and getting them to open up to her. Also, the letters to 大旦那様 ! And the dinner! 10/10!
