This book has been surprising me on every page. I went to the ENT because my voice has not been its usual self, and since I rely on it for my work, I had to get well fast. I was diagnosed with GERD (reflux) even though I rarely experience heartburn! Hence the name 'silent reflux', acid has been BURNING my VOCAL CORDS! Apparently, I won't eat better to lose weight, but I will sure as hell eat better to save my voice!
