An intriguing start! Although, given the cover image I am wondering if the author knows the difference between a beret and a flat cap... because the image of the hockey tough guy wearing a beret is an odd image. Unless it's a hockey things that I don't know about. Entirely possible. All I know about hockey is that it involves, ice and sticks and lots of fighting. Maybe it's the hat trick thing ;D
