The land on which the house was built was acquired by Arabs, who also provided the architectural plans and foundations. Most of the house’s bricks and builders were Persian. Its landlords were Turks. Shiites believed that it was built on shaky foundations. Now, the building has been divided into apartments. Recently, the interior design has been dominated by Western style, which clashed with the traditional décor.
