It's my first romance book of the year, so my opinion might be a little biased in its favor haha I'm enjoying it well enough so far! A strong four stars for the writing and my interest in the mythology. Characterization-wise, it falls a bit flat. It feels like people aren't growing as...people, and the main character seems a touch too perfect, but we'll see! I still have the second half to get through.
