Lol. Then shouldn't you be reading depressing stuff instead.
Feel-good animal books now make me sadder than their tragic counterparts do because all these happy kitties are so full of life and it's a grim reminder that one of mine isn't. Not that I've read a lot of these types of stories.
Weird thought process, I know.
