Okay, kinda slaying. I have an issue with it however, why the fuck does she have sexual tension with her potential relatives? Signs are pointing to no relation bc of the tension, but nevertheless it is still upsetting.

Exposition is still building, I literally j started the book. However, I’m a little scared that the author is going to fall into the trap of trying to connect with the youth by talking in slang incorrectly. Mainly, it’s just when Avery is DMing her friend, Max. That part is a little hard to read but otherwise it is off to a goof start!
