This question is going to sound imbecilic, but since I haven't yet discovered how to delete GR bookshelves since I've been on this bookish platform, would anyone be so kind as to educate this ignorant reader? 🤦🏽♀️

You can go into 'My Books', 'Edit Bookshelves' and it's there! I've deleted loads!

This is the year I do a major virtual bookshelf clear up. Thank you!
I was about to comment, but Rebecca summed it up perfectly. It took me a while to figure it out, so don't feel bad. Goodreads still confuses me to this day. It's even worse now with the horrid new layout.
