As is per the usual with GR functionality I'm not getting notifications or recent updates, so I just wanted to take the time to apologise to my GR friends for any missed notes, comments or notifications. The issue doesn't seem to be remedying itself so I can only hope it doesn't persist. For now, just wishing all the best and beautiful autumnal vibes to all of you!

Hello lovely readers, just a quick update from me. I'm currently in the middle of utter chronic illness burnout (fighting multiple infections too) & haven't been able to move from my bed in over a week. I love my GR life, chatting with you bunch gives me SO much joy but this month is going to be HARD & recovery is going to be a very slow game. I hope to be back soon & you're ALL dearly missed. Hope to be back soon <3

I struggle with debilitating health issues & after a recent dip in health I realised I'm more neglectful of my health than I'd like to admit so I'm trying to change that rather than expend energy where it takes a toll. I'll still be here though & I'll do my best to interact!

I don't know why this book is so satisfying to me on every level but I'm not going to question it. Just brilliant, and this re-read was so so worth it. I've considered reading ACOWAR again but I've got too many books to get through so no more re-reads for me!

I think I might have to start debating the merits of repeatedly reading from authors I don't have the best reading history with 😅

You know, despite the many times we're told how powerful Rhys is (that he's the most powerful High Lord in Prythian's history) I think it's a tad disappointing the the author didn't go all out with that. I really would have loved to see that power in action on a much bigger scale. Even so, I'm really enjoying this re-read - everything about it really - and oddly enough it makes for a perfect December read

I rarely re-read but I need the comfort that only my favourite High Lord can give me. So this is happening.

So folks, I'm not sure what's happening with GR right now so if you're noticing a Vaishali-shaped hole in your 'like' lists it's because GR is barring a lot of my likes from your updates and reviews. Hopefully this gets sorted soon though 😬
