Just the reality of it had Sasha understanding why victims of such things kept quiet. It wasn’t like they were okay with the acts of depraved abuse, it was just mortifying having those you love know. You didn’t want them to look at you in such a way, you didn’t want them to be sad, and you didn’t want them to see you as a victim.
