It's fun, but the structure gets tiresome. (It's not Shahnameh... it's the same for all accounts / annals of faux lineages) Good King, Bad King, Hero, battles, new King, etc...

Heroes, dragons, curses lineages, noble and eveil beauties, fathers killing sons and sons killing fathers! Quite entertaining.

It's interesting to find so many earlier and later themes. Snake Kings! Divided kingdoms! Ungrateful children! Foretold heroes! A forbidden love! Even a Priam-like Queen infiltrating enemy camp to plead...
