okay it’s like reading a crime show like NCIS mixed with Heroes? we’ve got like “modern day” with mythical creatures? it’s a little bit slow going for me right now, but it’s not bad?

this one is def a slow burner, it’s a loooooot of world building in the beginning but it gets so worth it especially once you get to book two

okay!! that’s so good to hear! i don’t mind if so far, but i feel like i have to keep rereading to understand what everyone is and what all the world words mean. i’m excited to get into the meat of it though
