Jayson
Jayson is on page 284 of 294

Notes:
(1) Despite this series' reputation, it hasn't been so bad. Generally, I'd say it's middling, though the last two issues of this volume were pretty great.
- It's no coincidence that the couple really good ones have only concentrated on one plot thread.
- From issues #1-28, it's been exclusively jumping around between multiple plotlines, parceling out stories in bits.

Notes:
(1) So, according to all the reading orders, this is where I'm meant to stop and read the remaining 39 tie-ins.
- There's three issues left here, so I'm just going to burn through them and read the tie-ins after.
(2) This has been like watching a soap opera.
- The cast is huge, some characters I dread revisiting, some I'm mildly interested in, a few I actually enjoy.

(1) Every time I see some random Canadian city thrown in the mix, I think "Yup, that’s Jeff Lemire’s doing."
(2) Time travel's confusing. Here, the most confusion thing is that they stay in one year nearly the whole time, and a much later year very little. So, when they switch between them, you barely notice.
- I end up rereading things again after the realization kicks in.

Notes:
(1) Fifty Sue calls Power Girl "Boob Window," which is the first likable thing about her.
(2) These first 3 issues all end anticlimactically.
- They aren't shocking, revealing, nor impactful.
(3) The highlight of this so far has been the Bruce Wayne stuff in the far future.
- Not that it's necessarily good. I'm just shocked they allowed that in a mainstream DC comic.

Notes:
(1) Well, I'm back with this after a bit of a break. Really, there's only so much "Futures End" one can take continuously.
- Hopefully I'll remember enough of the last volume not to need a refresher.
(2) I have a choice between reading the tie-ins along with this book, by release date, or afterwards.
- Except for story-critical ones, I'll probably wait until the end.
