I just finished the book and give it an endorsement both as an interesting story, and more importantly as an insight into how our country's "security" agencies operate. I wish Ms. could tell us what she knows for sure. But lacking that, we have to accept this fictional work as hinting at the real story. Highly recommended.

Just started yesterday. I'm finding the story interesting, mostly because I know Ms. Edmonds knows whereof she speaks, so I'm considering it a course on the workings of the state department. The writing, while economical, can be a bit disjointed at times. The characters are a bit confusing, I'm having to flip back & check a little.
