Just started and found glaring factual error. "But then, Jane’s mother was the daughter of one of England’s favorite cardinals." How is this possible? Church of England does not have cardinals, they are Catholic. Catholic clergy are celibate. A few minutes research and would have been no mistake, if said bishop would have been no problem.
