Just finished white nights.
It’s equal parts torture and comfort. I find myself relating to the unnamed protagonist.
I applaud him for offering a sense of peace and calm to a mere stranger, to whom he eventually grew close. a story that navigates fleeting relationships and emotions. a chance encounter that evoked sensation.
