Celia Sánchez was absolutely incredible. Her importance to the success of the Cuban Revolution really cannot be overstated.

Celia Sánchez's name pops up so regularly and with such adoration and respect in the books I've read relating to the Cuban Revolution that I just had to start reading about her life.

I'm really excited to read about such a badass woman who was a key organiser within the Cuban Revolution and who had such a huge impact on the Cuban people even after the triumph of the revolution.
