Chapter 22: what happened to the "it'll be alright"??? Damn you boat person, can't you just be quiet!??!!? I feel so dreadfully sorry for Maxim and our lovely protagonist, how are they supposed to live laugh love when the silly little boat person makes an annoying conclusion!!! Poor Maxim sounded so defeated calling for his wife to be taken out :( i hope it all ends okay :(

Um, plot twist?? I mean I'm here for it, kinda hate how arrogant Rebecca sounds but MAXIM KILLING HER?!!?!?!? Woah! I mean I definitely suspected that he was angry at her for her CONSTANT CHEATING but that was incredibly unexpected. I love it

Mrs Danvers seems devastated. The chapter of her showing the protagonist the room startled me wildly and honestly made me as uncomfortable and had our protagonist. Wow.

I really like Maxim's sister Beatrice, she seems sweet. The last sentence about our favourite protagonist being very different from Rebecca however made me rather unsure and extremely curious.

MARRIAGE?!!? Wow they just ARE going fast! I mean it's rather cute but I do wish she had asked if she at least made him happy before agreeing to marry him.
