This book was very well done. Mr Elliison supports his work with plenty of ancient sources as well as archeological references. It is also refreshing in that it isn't coming at you from a Wiccan point of view. It is also much more than just a historical work as it includes advice for developing your own ritual. It is full of examples of both rituals and basic spells. He goes over the Holy days as practices by ADF.
