This was so far from traditional horror, I absolutely loved it. I did finish it in one night, which I seem to do with a lot of books. Great character development, useful background information, not too much, not too little. It was the perfect blend. I felt like I knew the characters and watching in the background. Steve Stred has outdone it and now I get to go to sleep in my farmhouse in the middle of the woods.

Ok, I know this is for the Group Read starting tomorrow, but I could not help myself. Y'all are in for some freaky and twisty horror. I am so curious where this is going to lead... the secrets are well hidden in the book so far.

Just pay attention to the small hints throughout and maybe you can figure out the culprit before I did. I don't do spoilers, so that's all you get

I wouldn't be surprised if I missed the hints too, especially if I end up getting engrossed within the story I tend to then miss the little hints. I guess I can get emotionally involved at times.
