Pi is taught that the animals in the zoo are way more dangerous than he thought by his father and his father taught him this by going to the tiger enclosure and putting a goat in the tiger enclosure and making Pi watch the tiger eat the goat

The ship Pi and his family were on along with all of the animals sunk and pi was the only one left besides richard parker who was swimming for his life but I don't know if he made it.

Pi wants to be a part of a bunch of different religions like muslim christian and hindu but his parents don't really support him and they are about to move because a dictator is taking over the country
