My heart hurts for Hassan. I haven't registered it that way.'c because it was brutal and wuick and so inhumane. I also hate Amir, what an opportunist asshole.

I try to not get angry at Amir bc he only is a child but i cannot stand the way he describes the power dynamic between him and Hassan. I can't wait for the part where the communists take over and he gets some socialist epiphany- in a xie lian way. Wisdom acquired through poverty
