Finished the first book in this duology and it’s kind of a mess. 2 stars for book one.
the pacing is very slow for the first half of book 1, and there’s a lot of different plots and characters introduced that I’m not really sure go anywhere. It makes it hard to follow and become invested, especially in the… romance? It doesn’t feel like a romance between 2 of the characters…
