I love the character building in this story. A lot of depth and detail tailored to each individual person.It makes them seem like they are real. Events are starting to happen and the characters are introduced at a steady pace,which seems to make it easier to relate to each one. There is a lot of talk about geologists, earthquakes, siesmic currents, some parts I feel like I'm in a college class. Very enjoyable overall

So far so good.... I feel it leading up to somewhere. In depth look of main characters and their lives. Why do all these horror novels happen in the middle of the woods in an old farmhouse? I live in the middle of the woods in a century old farmhouse. When will the madness stop?? I am beginning to fear my lifestyle of off grid life, one hour from any real civilization.
