Ok, so the female lead aka the PI has a very fortunate encounter with no other than John Ford (character based on John Douglas, ex FBI agent who was a pioneer in Behavioral Science in the USA) who gives her an idea of what he is studying at the time... This encounter gives her a sort of push into a new direction in her investigation in the case of two missing girls (and then others).
Not sure how I feel about this...
