i like the premise of the book but the writing tone is a bit too 'ya' for my tastes. i want to enjoy it but i feel like I'm missing out on the experience i would've had, had i picked this book up when i was 16. it's not a feeling I'm used to and it's proving very hard to shake. i feel sad.

Yeah i felt a bit like that too. I was roughly 25 when i read and i often like i would have been obsessed had I read it as a teen, and now i merely enjoyed it
