This is the first time I've read about a character having synesthesia, and it was a little intimidating at first (earnestly, I don't think I was in the right headspace,) but I gave it another shot today and it's one of the coolest, most imaginative and unique things I've ever read. AND the prose of K.E. Andrews is phenomenal and beautiful!
