Excellent. I know I couldn’t walk through clouds of midges , horseflies . I would be ok with bogs having fallen into one on the Isle of Mull with my youngest son on my shoulders. I would also find 20+ miles a day gruelling. as for wild camping I did tgat in the Algonquin reserve whilst canoeing over 20 years ago which was great but in the uk I'm not so sure.
I enjoyed the book and the thoughts for rewilding etc
