This book is so cleverly written. I wish I had thought of how to keep all those different strings alive. One of my favorite lines was when his mother asked Jack Spratt, “when are you going to get rid of those three bags of wool in the shed?“ And I never imagined Humpty Dumpty as a dark figure. Often really kept my mind going during this book. laughed out loud several times.
