I don't know why the author insists on things being an issue of individual thinkers. Especially not Lossky, when there's no evidence that she ever had anything to do with him aside from what seems to have been a retcon of her back story (Barbara Branden's hagiography book's interview with Rand). The real question is: why did everything in the West gets broken over the last 1,000 years. Ask about that.
