Finished the book of Acts. The only ‘book of history’ in the New Testament. I love learning about what happened post Jesus’ resurrection. Also the backstory to Paul. I love Paul. This book has brought so many new places on my ever growing bucket list

The gospel according to John. A similar recall as Mathew/Mark/Luke but the resurrection is different. I’m M/M/L they claim that both Mary’s went to the tube and found an angel there who said Christ was risen. In John it says that there were 2 disciples that went into the tomb and when Mary was alone Jesus Himself was at the tomb and told her that He has risen

The book of Mark:
It took me longer to read this than I wanted as I was doing studies of other chapters & a lack of personal time spent reading the gospel in general (which is sad and needs to be improved) but I’m back. Love the version from Mark. It’s always sad reading about Jesus crucification but it’s important to read over and over again.

Just finished the book of Matthew. I skipped to the New Testament because I know it’s more relevant. The story of Jesus. The gospel told my Matthew. What else can i say!? Very enjoyable/sad

The book of numbers. It’s taken a while for me to read this chapter I have been slacking… but it’s good. The continued story of Moses and the Israelites.

The book of Leviticus. Mainly a lot of rules that the Lord is saying how he would like people to live. With the rules in the Old Testament I’m a bit skeptical because it seems like everyone just picks and chooses what they deem to be okay and what not. For example: keeping the sabbath holy is not practiced as much but then circumcising at birth is now practiced. Maybe farther along my questions will be answered

Just finished the book of Genesis. I would like to make this apparent that there are many many books in the bible that theoretically should count as one book each since it is about 50 pages per book which has two colums in small letters which means should be about 3x the amount of pages but that is besides the point. I guess if i finish this this year i can just claim it as a 1700 page book - but to myself its more
