It should be obvious, but. Before people are queer, they are just people, and people can be pretty awful. Navigating the first feelings of femme love was like wandering in a thick forest. It’s enchanting and exciting, and finally, illusory. The fantasy gives way to frustration and wondering how you could be so ignorant to the fact that a girl is more than just a girl.
