I liked this book, but I didn't loveeeeee it. The story was emotional, as abuse is never a light subject and it did tear at my heart the way Ronnie was treated. I'm glad she and Luke have a HEA, because I was rooting for him the whole way through. I just didn't connect with Ronnie as much as I would have liked, but I still enjoyed this read and recommend it. :)

Ugh. Ronnie's making excuses for Shawn's disgusting behavior and blaming herself for causing him stress..I can't stand when a female character does that. Makes excuses for shitty actions by others and mopes around thinking they are an abomination and everything is always there damn fault.
