Can I just say the first kiss in this book is my favorite I've ever written?

"Your brother?
"No. Lennon's."
"Oh, well, he doesn't seem to like you very much, You wanna ditch him and carpool with me?"
"Nah. I can handle him. But thanks, though."
Jackson looked doubtful. "You sure?"
"Trust me, I've been putting up with him since I was four. He doesn't scare me," I said, flashing my friend a confident grin that didn't quite touch the fluttering butterflies in my stomach.

"Okay," my best friend forever replied. "Have fun. Love you."
"Love you, baby."
It was true.
I really did.
