After all this Derrida reading is finished, I look forward to a style that, well, “gets to the point,” without so many digressions. Nevertheless, his “adieu” to Emmanuel Levinas is a gut-wrenching tribute to someone who spent their career turned infinitely toward the Other yet-to-come/always-on-the-way with a hospitality worthy of the name.
