Having watched the TV series 'Slow Horses' I immediately sought out the first of Mick Herron's Slough House novels - and loved it. Normally, I'd advise against watching TV/film before reading but, having done so in this case, I can picture Jackson Lamb as portrayed brilliantly by Gary Oldman. Lamb is a superb creation and well supported by his cast of misfits and losers. Looking forward to this...
