So! You want to be a Librarian. Well according to your state. There are Certifed Librarian that the Library System puts through a grueling 2 week training. Not available everywhere! Library Technician is a degreed certification. About 2 years hard to get a spot. Almost rare spot to train in will be a Masters in Library Science. You have to get a bachelor's in some topic of interest. Like if you want to be a law Librarian. You get a bachelor's in law first. MLS space is limited and quickly fills up. Grants through the Library System are surrounded with competitions. Whatever the path! Remember if you get a circulation position. Be nice! Some don't mean to pit the book on the shelf incorrectly. Sometimes it's just the shelving ghost at work. #IAWThoughts
