Tolle discusses the idea that our thoughts / opinions / beliefs and feelings are not who we are and should be paid very little attention to which is partially true, however if this was entirely true then this book would also mean nothing as it’s just a stream of Tolles spiritual beliefs on consciousness and ego - not facts. I would recommend reading critically, some great ideas whereas some unnecessary

I’m going to discontinue reading. Some insightful perspectives and thoughts but it is repetitive of the same themes. Like the “the power of now” - both books emphasise the importance of being in the present moment and how this can help manage “ego”, & exploring good/bad aspects of religious ideology. Not inherently bad ideas/opinions however multiple books to express the same thing is unnecessary
