I'm liking the story, but there's this one thing in the heroine's past- she had sex when she was 14 with a guy her dad's age, and everyone in the story is acting like it was her idea, rather than statutory rape, which it most definitely was. A 14-year-old is not capable of making rational, actual consent, and I don't see that idea anywhere in here.
