Is this Scott guy serious? I mean...what the fuck. It's almost comical. Because Em didn't give him her number he had to go follow her out the store like a scorned puppy dog? Last I remembered if I didn't give a guy my number they move right along. Kinda far fetched, but hey, whatever adds some drama (coughspacefillercough)

I may be totally wrong and it might not be that simple, but aren't there homeless shelters around? Especially in cities? This book really makes you think tough. It's so sad that there are people, children even who are homeless and have but a penny to their name, when so many others take life's luxuries for granted. I could never imagine living that life, but unfortunately for a lot of people it's not an option. :/
