This author may not be for me.

I have one more book bought in this series that I’ll read but maybe then stick to her really great novellas.

I’m so close to DNF this. Ok besides both the H and h being incredible innocent in the naive and immature way, the H does a “prank” to make sure the family carriage breaks down. it does and H’s father and brother die. I’m assuming something else may be at play but why would you prank that. Then H in aftermath of deaths go from moody to giddy. The h is clueless and giddy. Is this her norm for writing?

Not sure how I’ll rate this. Two very naive main characters but not done in a condescending way - they really are that naive that they just don’t get it it feels juvenile but again not in a bad way. Very much not really something I like in stories, but her writing style is easy, flowing, and a quick read. I’ll stick to her novellas after I read the next book in the series that I already have.

Pretty quick flowing. Pretty immature heroine and himbo hero. But it’s not annoying surprisingly. H and h are insta attracted and want to marry. I’ve read novellas by this author and enjoyed them but feel it’s novella writing out a book length (Well long novella - 200 pages). I have 2 books I so I’ll read them. Not bad, but just like the last author, I think is better for novella writing.
