When this tragedy happened, I listened to the Broken Harts podcast. The podcast took a white feminist lens in which the focus was on what drove (terrible pun intended) the two adoptive white mothers to commit a murder-suicide involving their six Black children while failing to examine the systems that led those Black children to be separated from their birth families.
