At this point, I’m convinced that Eddie is the literary embodiment of all the men that don’t like women, and actually kind of hate them, but are still attracted to them.

5 chapters in and he has not shown for a second that he likes her, but Bella is ✨obsessed✨He’s a gaslighter, has a superiority complex, and snickers at her constantly.

Girly, we can do better 🙏🏼

My roommate and I are doing a very professional, very analytical rereading of this book 🫡 I am now two chapters in and boy do I have thoughts:
• Bella is the poster child for how adultification as a child makes you make bad decisions in the future…like fall in love with a dude who’s core strength is gaslighting
• Charlie and all the Forks folks deserve so much better 😤
• 2.5 stars for writing
